Telephone and video appointments are available for advice, follow-up and results, wherever you are. Where an examination is needed, you are seen in person.
What is suitable

Checking in after a consultation, or discussing how a plan is working.
Results and advice
Talking through test results, or advice on an ongoing condition while you are travelling.
Notes and letters follow
A record of the appointment is kept, and any letters or onward referrals follow in the usual way.
Important
When you will be seen in person instead
A new symptom that needs examining, anything urgent, or a request for a prescription without an assessment will be offered an in-person appointment, either at the consulting rooms or by a home or hotel visit. Prescriptions are issued only where clinically appropriate after an assessment, for you to collect from a pharmacy of your choice.
What to expect
How a remote appointment works
You will be asked about your current concern in the same way as an in-person appointment, with time to explain and be understood. Dr Azhar will advise on next steps, which may include an in-person appointment, tests, or a referral. Notes are kept in the usual way, and any letters follow afterwards.
